Cabin Charters

Yacht charter made available to individual travellers..

If you are a small group, a couple or on your own, this is the right formula for you.
This concept allows you to be a guest on a large sailing yacht without having to assemble a party for chartering a whole boat, to meet new people while retaining your privacy thanks to our independently accessed cabins and their private bathrooms.
Sailing experience is not required. However, each person may actively participate in sailing under the supervision of the skipper. He will be your guide, translator and advisor as well as affecting group dynamics in order to ensure you a hassle free vacation.

Active Formula
OUR GUESTS FULLY PARTICIPATE TO LIFE ON BOARD. While enjoying the sea and sun you will be involved in all tasks of everyday life on board, up to handling the yacht itself if you so wish.A common kitty will be collected to pay for meals on board or at taverns, excursions, port dues, water, fuel and the skipper’s meals. Final cleanup could be taken over against a fee. Special discounts are available for children.

Cozy Formula
SKIPPER AND STEWARD TAKE OVER ALL THE DUTIES: navigating, cleaning, cooking, maintaining and operating the yacht as well as entertaining their guests. These are welcome to take part in handling the yacht, if they wish!

NOTES
ONE MAY BOARD ANY CRUISE, from one to several weeks at any convenient harbour.
THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS IS 4. In the event where this figure is not reached, while keeping you informed, we may combine cruises.
ALTHOUGH, WHEN PLANNING, PREVAILING WINDS have been taken in account, exceptional weather conditions may force us to alter intermediate stop overs. for your safety and comfort.

A Typical Cruising Day

OUR POLICY IS TO MAKE SAILING A PLEASANT EXPERIENCE FOR EVERYBODY.
Wake up between 8am-9am and breakfast is followed by provisioning. Take off is around 9am-10am.
It usually takes from 4 to 6 hours to reach the next island. Where possible we have a swim and lunch break. The skipper attempts to tailor each journey to the needs of his guests and is there to assist them in discovering the cruising lifestyle. He also encourages each individual to become part of the team. In the afternoon, while moored in a fishing harbour or at anchor in a remote bay, you may either wander ashore (there is always plenty to see!) or just lay back. We then have dinner ashore, where we will introduce you to traditional greek meals, or we can cook on board.

How to book?

ONCE YOU HAVE CHECKED THE PRICES (conditions and eventual discounts) and availability (click on contact us) for a given period, you reserve your boat. We will then confirm you by e-mail the yacht's availability. Contact us to discuss your desired itinerary or any specific wishes.

Traveling Information

The Greek Islands' climate is dry, temperate and salubrious, so apart from sunblock, sunglasses, a windbreaker, a sweater, white soled deck shoes, a beach towel, personnally prescribed medication and some light clothing you will not need much else. During early or late season cruises, a waterproof jacket may become handy. Please pack soft carry-alls as hard suitcases are impossible to stow (you will have to share your bunk with it!). Travel documents are the same you would need for travelling across the EU.

WHEN TO TRAVEL
1. APRIL TO JUNE: the winds are variable, the days are long and sunny. In spring the sea is still cool (20°C) but the islands are covered in flowers and the tourist traffic is low.
2. JULY AND AUGUST: this is the dry and tourist season. Sunshine is guaranteed as well as the etesian (meltemi) wind. This northerly wind ensures pleasurable sailing temperatures. Since we are dealing with a section of the monsoon (which blows around the asian continent), its consistency has allowed us to match our itineraries with the best possible sailing conditions. Air and maritime transportation reach their frequency peak in the Aegean, allowing many convenient transfers to and from the islands.
3. SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER: tourism and heat are receding. Nights are longer, the sea is warmer (24°C) and the winds have somewhat abated.
