You may have found us over the internet which
is a great tool for finding what you need but
often lacks the personalization that our clients
require – that’s why we believe
that the difference in your yachting experience
between yachting companies is not necessarily
just the yacht but your entire customer experience
with the yachting team.
Our guest services team have extensive experience
in organzing, orchestrating and creating the
right atmosphere for our clients. We are the
consierge of yachts so no request or question
is too diffult for us to answer. Below are
some of our frequently asked questions that
will help you in your planning of your yacht
charter. Check back frequently as I often
change the topic of discussion and provide
updated questions from all of our clients
around the world and of course the answers!
We
look forward to welcoming you on board and
please send us your questions and we will
make sure to get them answered for you.
Best regards,

Frequently
Asked Questions
Q.
How will Endless Blue make a difference to
my vacation or special event?
A. We pride ourselves on excellent customer
service and this only happens through our
communication with you. From the moment you
select your vessel you will be introduced
to one of our yachting associates. He or she
will then work with you to create the vacation
of your dreams. You will be guided through
the procedures of finalizing your booking
and offered personal advice to help you gain
the most out of your trip. Your personal yachting
associate will even meet you upon arrival
and be there to bid you a safe journey home
on departure!
We love what we do and we believe that we
show that from our first point of contact
with you.
Q.
I want to see the real Greece – is this
possible or has it become package tourism?
A. The beauty of Greece is that the original
magic of the country and the people still
exist. There are some wonderful small fishing
islands to see and mix with locals and local
lifestyles. There are untouched swimming spots
with crystal clear waters that can only be
reached by boat and for the evening you can
find family run tavernas with Grandma still
cooking in the kitchen!
However, if you prefer the islands bustling
with tourists and the crazy nightlife –
we can easily provide that too!
Q.
Are there set days for charter bookings?
A.
We understand that your vacation does not
necessarily begin on a Saturday and therefore
we do not provide set days for checking in
or departing. We will do our best to accommodate
the dates you require.
Q.
Can I have a car pick me up at the airport?
A. Of course – we can arrange for an
airport pick-up/drop off for you – or
perhaps make it easier and have both!
Q. What type of money is accepted?
A. Euros are accepted throughout Greece. MasterCard
and Visa are accepted more commonly than other
credit cards.
It is always a good idea to have cash on you,
when you pop into small gift stores.
There are also ATM machines at all larger
island ports
Q.
What should I bring?
A. In Summer the weather can be very hot during
the day but the evenings may also be cooler
as many of the islands are windy, so always
bring a windbreaker or tracksuit to keep you
warm while relaxing on deck at night.
Otherwise, the island lifestyle is generally
stylish yet casual. You will need your beach
wear, something smart-casual for dinners at
Greek tavernas and whatever you normally wear
to bars or nightclubs.
Bring your protective beachwear and sunscreens.
Don’t forget any medication you may
require while traveling.
Q.
Will my cell phone work?
A. Greece operates on a GSM network, so most
do work. American cell phones will not work
unless they are tri-band.
Q.
How do the catamarans go?
A. Average cruising speed by engine is 7NM/Hour
Average cruising speed by sail is 11NM/Hour
Q.
Do the cats have a dinghy?
A. Yes, please look at our vessel descriptions.
We recommend that you do not load the dinghies
with more than 4 persons at a time and do
not approach rocky areas.
Q.
Is there snorkel gear on board?
A. Our elite line crewed catamarans have gear
for snorkeling. We recommend you bring your
own mouthpiece for hygiene purposes. If you’re
a more advanced diver than just snorkeling
– let us know to have diving gear on
board waiting for you. Your yachting associate
will tell you the areas where you can dive
as Greece ,due to its wealth of ancient artifacts,
has many restricted areas for diving
Q.
How much storage do the cats have?
A. Each cabin has a storage unit for two medium
sized cases and a small cupboard. Our recommendation
is always soft luggage as it is easier to
store.
Q.
Do the cats have generators?
A. Our elite line crewed catamarans have generators
and the voltage system is 220volts with the
standard European plug has two prongs.
If you are not from Europe you will need to
bring a converter to change your voltage system
to our 220 volts and an adaptor that changes
your electrical plug to the European 2-prong.
This is important, otherwise it can damage
the cat and your electrical appliance.
The
rest of our fleet of catamarans do not have
generators but do have shore power lines.
Its always wise to be conservative on your
battery usage.
Q.
Do you provide bed linen?
A. We provide sheets, pillows, pillowcases
and blankets for all.
Q.
Do you provide towels?
A. We provide one bath towel per person per
week. We advise that you bring your own beach
towels.
Q.
Can we fish?
A. Yes you can fish, however we do not provide
rods etc.
Bait and line can be bought at all ports.
Q.
Can we eat our catch?
A. Yes you can clean, cook and eat your catch!
Q.
Can we spearfish?
A. You can spearfish as long as you free-dive
– no oxygen tanks otherwise you will
be subjected to a huge fine and the vessel
will be called back from charter.
Q.
Why don’t you include fuel in the price
of the vessel?
A.
Factors such as fuel are totally based on
consumption levels.
The cats have approximately 450Lt capacity
for fuel. If you choose to travel on sail
rather than engine you will not use will much
fuel and your costs will be less expensive
than if you were travelling on the engines.
Another reason is that the price of fuel fluctuates
and therefore it is difficult to estimate
its cost. We do offer all-inclusive programs
as well if you don’t want to have to
worry about any local charges.
Q.
Why don’t you include water in the price
of the vessel?
A. When referring to water, we mean your water
for general usage such as showers, plate washing
and rinsing off salt water after a swim. Your
drinking water is always bottled. The cats
have approximately 600Lt tanks for general
usage water. This is totally based on consumption
and as some people are more conservative with
their water usage than others. For your estimates
be prepared to pay approximately 30 Euros
for a tank fill.
