sailors a great opportunity to learn and practice while

CABIN OR FLOTILLA BOAT OPTIONS:
Guests have two cruising options to choose from: They can
reserve a ‘cabin’ with 2 light
meals and beverages per day aboard a skippered flotilla
‘lead’ vessel. Or guests can
book their own ‘flotilla yacht’
and sail themselves with a group of boats. Flotillas allow
trouble free sailing as they are guided by our knowledgeable
staff. Flotilla yachts range from 36ft to 60ft. Please contact

The two-week 'Odyssey
Cruise' covers the most complete itinerary in the Greek sailing
industry! It is roughly 360 miles round trip and is a challenging
sailing adventure taking in the most important archaeological,
mythological and historical islands in the Saronic Gulf and
central Aegean sea.

7-night
Athens-Athens: The one-week round trip itinerary
from Athens remains the same as our 2- week
trips for the first 4 days: Aegina, Poros, Spathi,
Hydra (2 nights) or Dokos. Additional
Saronic stops may include historic Spetses
to tour the 18th century home of Admiral Bouboulina, Ermioni
a forested Peloponnese peninsula, Epidaurous
to visit the most important ancient amphitheatre in Greece
and a lunch swim stop at Aghistri before
returning to Athens. Weather permitting,
guests may also be offered a Saronic & Cycladic 7-night
cruise which could include: Athens, Aegina, Poros,
Spathi, Hydra (2 nights) or Dokos, Kithnos
(visit the hot baths), Kea (see Day 13 or
2-week itinerary), Cape Sounion and return
to Athens.
10-night
Athens-Paros/Mykonos: Guests can join the circuit
for ten nights following the 2-week itinerary starting on
Day 1 in Athens and finishing on Day 11 in Paros or Mykonos.
By special
arrangement only: 7-night Athens-Ios or Ios-Athens:
Guests can join the two week circuit for one week, starting
on Day 1 in Athens and finishing on Morning 8 in Ios unless
a one-week Athens-Athens lead boat is scheduled. Alternatively,
guests can start in Ios on Day 8 and finish in Athens on Morning
15.
Private departures
for full boat groups of 8-9 can be customized 1 to 2 week
departures.
Note: On a private Aegean Adventure Cruise
departures, the skipper may be the only crew member
*It
is important to note that the 'Aegean Adventure Cruises
and Flotillas' are not guided by an archaeologist and there
are no lectures given aboard. The itinerary is designed to
offer the most important archaeological, mythological and
historical islands but guests are advised to explore them with
guide book in hand (see suggested reading list). The captains
are well trained sailors and have a good knowledge of modern
and ancient Greece but are not government trained guides.
It is also important to note that the 'Aegean Adventure
Cruises and Flotillas' are not privately booked tours. They
are 'individual, group 'by the cabin' tours where groups who
know each other cannot dictate the size of yachts, number
of guests aboard or the number of boats in a flotilla. Generally
the departures are one yacht but often two and sometimes there
are as many as four yachts on a departure. Customised itineraries
and bareboats with captain can be arranged for groups wanting
their own private yacht and itinerary which can be chosen
from our fleet of 250 yachts including all recent Beneteau
models.
