Please read these carefully as bookings are accepted only in accordance with the terms and conditions set out below.

PAYMENT
A deposit of £400/$750 per person is required upon reservation. Your booking is confirmed from the date confirmation is sent to you of receipt of your booking form and deposit. The balance of the cost must be paid 2 calendar months before the scheduled start. If booking 2 calendar months or less from the scheduled start, payment must be made in full. The booking and contract with you is subject to the law of England and any dispute is to be settled in England.

CANCELLATION
If you wish to cancel your booking you must do so in writing. You will then be subject to the following cancellation charges. Cancellations received more than 56 days before departure will be assessed a penalty equal to the deposit per person. Cancellations received 56-31 days prior to departure will be assessed a penalty equal to 50% of the total cost per person. Cancellations received within 30 days of departure are subject to 100% cancellation penalties. If you do not pay the balance of the cost of the holiday 2 calendar months before departure Peter Sommer Travels reserves the right to cancel your booking. Where a refund is payable there will be an admin fee of £30/$55 per person.

INSURANCE & HEALTH/FITNESS
It is a requirement of the booking that you have comprehensive holiday and travel insurance cover including medical expenses. You must be fit and well to take part in these tours. They involve a significant amount of walking and some scrambling over rough terrain on archaeological sites. It is the responsibility of the individual tour members to decide whether they are medically fit and able to undertake the tours.

CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS
Peter Sommer Travels will make every effort to operate the specially arranged tours according to the itineraries described in the brochure, but reserves the right to alter any arrangement of the tour should it become necessary or advisable, without penalty. If there are fewer than 8 passengers booked on a tour with not less than 6 weeks to go before departure, Peter Sommer Travels reserves the right to cancel any booking with a full refund. Peter Sommer Travels does not accept responsibility for cancellation or changes in the tour for reasons beyond its control, such as (but not limited to) terrorist activities, civil unrest, closure of airports, technical problems with transport, adverse weather conditions, strikes, and all similar events whether these events are threatened or actual. Care and diligence have been exercised in the making of the tour arrangements, but Peter Sommer Travels cannot be held responsible for a failure of sub-contracted ancillary services.

TOUR COST
Peter Sommer Travels reserves the right to increase the price of a tour in the event of any increase in such costs as transportation and fuel, fees, taxes, or exchange rates. If this results in an increase of more than 15% of the holiday price you will be entitled to cancel your holiday with a full refund of all monies paid. The price of the holiday will not change 30 days or less, prior to departure.

Peter Sommer Travels has no connection with any airline and suggests making flight reservations with our flight specialists. We will meet flights arranged by our flight specialists; if you arrive late our best effort will be made to allow you to join tours at a convenient time and place.

LIABILITY
Peter Sommer Travels is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, delay, or irregularity arising from negligence by any third party or the negligence of his customers. Because the airline travel component of your trip is not paid to us, repatriation will not be provided.

COMPLAINTS
Any complaints must be reported immediately and in any event within 24 hours to the Tour Leader who will do everything possible to resolve the matter.
